Farley Lab
Principal Investigator: Emma Farley
Institution: University of California San Diego (La Jolla, CA)
Primary Subfield: Genetics/Genomics
Recruitment Status: ✅ Accepting PhD Students ✅ Hiring Postdocs
Research Focus
The Farley Lab investigates the regulatory principles governing enhancer specificity and function during embryonic development. Using single-cell high-throughput reporter assays, synthetic biology, and computational models, the lab seeks to understand how non-coding genomic variation and transcription factor grammar translate into precise spatial and temporal gene expression programs in health and disease.
